Outrage As Petrol Price Increases From N138 To N151

The Federal Government has announced an increment on Pump Price of Premium Motor Spirit PMS (Petrol) from N145 to N151.56 per litre with effect from today, Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020.

PPM released on memo on Wednesday to it’s stakeholders saying this: “Please be informed that a new product price adjustment has been effected on our payment platform ”.

“To this end, the price of premium motor spirit (PMS) is now one hundred and fifty-one naira, fifty-six kobo (N151.56) per litre.”

The likes of Ayodele Fayose, Kogi State former Governor have already taken on Twitter to lambast the Federal Government decision amid the adverse effects of the Covid-19.

PPMC, an agency under of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), said the new price takes effect Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
