Chairman Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya Mc-Oluomo on Thursday introduced the use of hand sanitizers and gun thermometer at NURTW Lagos state secretariat Oko Oba Agege also in motor parks across the state.
Alhaji Akinsanya Mc-Oluomo told NURTW Member present that members of the Union are vulnerable to contracting infectious disease due to the nature of our job, hence the introduction of preventive measures by the leadership of the Union.
Mc-Oluomo promise to visit motor park as part of his efforts to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in our motor parks, we will be holding an enlightenment campaign to create awareness about the virus to our members.
Alhaji Akinsanya Mc-Oluomo urged all union members to maintain personal hygiene by using the sanitizer, gun thermometer and cultivate the habits of washing their hands regularly with soap in there various motor parks.
Alhaji Akinsanya Mc-Oluomo reteirated that people should cover their mouth and nose properly with handkerchief or tissue paper when sneezing and or coughing and anyone that is not feeling well should promptly visit the nearest hospital.
