Manchester United presses Sevilla for the second goal and they got punished for sloppy defending at the back. Jesus Navas swings in a wonderful cross into the box, De Jong does well to connect with the ball, scoring from close range.
United’s defense should have done well to stop the Dutch midfielder from scoring.
Perhaps, Manchester United should have scored more goals in the game, poor finishing from attackers Marcos Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood saw the Red Devils miss countless opportunities in which they should have scored from.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer substitution didn’t help matters too, the United gaffer, waited till his team was down before he made changes.
Ole brought in Odion Ighalo, the Nigerian came in for Mason greenwood in the 93rd minutes, just two minutes to the end of the game.
