As part of measure to provide succour for the people through Corporate Social Responsibility(CRS) Lafarge company extended kind gestures to the residents of Oshodi through stimulus relief package given to the poorest of the poor, vulnerable, physically challenge and others in Oshodi.

The package contained food items such as Rice, Beans, Garri, Spaggeti, Milk, Tomato paste , groundnut oil, and others were packaged in a bag given to the beneficiaries.

The Vice Chairam Tpl Daisi Oso who represented the Council Chairman, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh while receiving the items expressed the chairman gratitude to the Organization for living up to their responsibility in this period of global challenge that requires all hands to be on deck for solution.

He added that, in a period like this, the pressure is much on government and there is a need for the intervention of corporate organizations to support the government as demonstrated by Lafarge

” Lafarge has lived up to the expectation of the people as it has shown to be responsible and responsive organization that derives pleasure providing succour to the people which must be the aim of any organization”, He said.

He, however, appealed to the people to keep adhering to the stated preventive measures to curb the spread of the Virus.
