President Muhammadu Buhari has raised concerns over what he described as the worsening security and humanitarian situation in Libya.
The Nigerian president raised the concern on Saturday, February 8, at the African Union Peace and Security Council summit on situations in Libya and the Sahel in Addis Ababa, The Guardian reports.
Buhari who was represented by the minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeoma, at the event stated that the Libyan conflict continues to have devastating impact neighbouring countries in the Sahel and the Lake Chad regions despite the effort by the African Union to resolve the dispute.
