Hours after launching the Iyepe Political Movement for 2023, a political group intended to actualise his governorship ambition, Hon AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef’s appointment as Special Adviser to the Speaker on the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa has been terminated.
On Tuesday, 29 September, 2020, AbdulLateef launched his Iyepe Political Movement meant to be the platform on which his governorship will be driven.
However, hours after that, his appointment with the Speaker was terminated.
The letter terminating his appointment was signed by Honourable Dayo Saka Fafunmi and dated Tuesday, 29 September, 2020.
According to information gathered by LagosspyNG, the major reason for the termination was ‘conflict of interest’ between his assignment and political ambition.
