Commercial bank’s manager arrested for hoarding new Naira notes in Abuja
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC) have arrested an operations manager of a leading commercial bank in Abuja for allegedly refusing to load the bank’s ATMs despite having N29million of the redesigned Naira notes in the branch’s vaults.
The manager was arrested on Monday, February 6, 2023.
According to the EFCC, “Before he was whisked away for further questioning, the operatives ordered the loading of all the ATMs and the payment of the stipulated amount across the counter to the delight of the distraught customers who had spent hours on queues without getting the new notes.
This discovery, which indicates a sabotage of the government’s monetary policy by some banks, was made by the EFCC in continuation of the ongoing surveillance and visit to banks across the country to access their vaults and verify whether they were deliberately refusing to dispense the redesigned Naira notes.
More than five bank branches were covered today by the operatives in Abuja. Similar exercises were ongoing in Zonal Commands across the country.“

Hello, this weekend is good in favor of me, as this moment i am
reading this enormous educational piece of writing here at my home.
The soapy water will transform into gross makeup stew, and your once-dirty sponge will look like new. Once the water cools off, rinse your sponge and wring it out under running water. Just be sure to never microwave a dry sponge, nor leave it in too long—apparently Beautyblenders melt. Think outside the (makeup) box when it comes to using your beautyblender. “Dedicate one of your Beautyblenders for facial cleansing,” says Ashleigh Ciucci, a New York City–based makeup artist. “Suds up your makeup sponge with your favorite face wash and use it to gently massage and cleanse.” Just keep in mind that it’s difficult to rinse anything sudsy from a beautyblender (except for the beautyblender liquid blendercleanser!), says Ciucci, so use this makeup sponge solely for cleansing. You may not have considered using a Beautyblender to apply and remove your makeup, but pro makeup artist Mia Yang tells SELF that it’s her not-so-secret beauty weapon. “I think most people thinking that a Beautyblender is for product application only, but it works just as well for removing it,” she says. “Depending on what motion you use, it can do either. To apply product, I use a bouncing motion to build-up makeup. To remove product, I use a wiping motion to completely take it away or reduce the product’s colors.”

One key question that most parents have is whether it is safe and beneficial to shave a baby’s hair? Before we answer the key question, lets understand the reasons and science behind this key topic – Should we or should we not? Cutting your little one’s soft, wispy hair for the first time is such an emotional thing. I get it. I really, really do. In fact, I get it so much that I held off taking my little guy to the hairdresser for ages. Help! My toddler hates getting his nails cut Never let it be said that Orthodox Jewish parents aren’t patient. According to their traditions, babies don’t get their first haircut until they turn 3, in a ceremony known as upsherin (Yiddish for “shear off”). Why 3? The tradition stems from a verse in the Torah that states a man is like a tree, and in Israeli law, trees cannot be harvested until they’ve matured three full years. An upsherin, held at temple with friends and family members, marks the start of a child’s formal education and shows that they are ready to start studying the Torah.
