Barr Blessing Ebizi Eradiri, who made Bayelsa State proud at the state owned Niger Delta University, Nigerian Law School and in other International competitions was honored by the Bayelsa state government for her outstanding academic performance.

Some few months ago, the social media space was flooded with a call for the state government to do the needful by a way of recognizing this young lady for her brilliant academic performance.

One Barr Ebi Robert first made the call for the need to recognize and honor this wonderful young lady by the state government. Thereafter, the news and call for her recognition hits the social media space which went viral with her photos.

Today, the Sen Diri’s led Bayelsa State Government has officially honored her with automatic employment as a lecturer in the state owned university, a scholarship to PhD level and has appointed her as the New Face Of the Girl Child in Bayelsa state.

There are many persons who had made first class in the past, but this young lady is exceptional as she broke a record amongst the Ijaws in the Niger Delta University (NDU).

According to report, before her feat, no student from the Niger Delta University has gone to the Law School and got a first class. But this brilliant young lady graduated with a fist class in the state owned Niger Delta University, and then went to the Nigerian Law School (NLS) and also graduated with a first class. Thereby making her the first student in the history of NDU to get a first class in the Nigeria Law School.
