WINNERS OF BYE-ELECTIONS TO COLLECT CERTIFICATE OF RETURNS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY – INEC

The Independent National Election Commission INEC has announced that winners of the recently concluded August 16th bye-elections will receive their certificates of return on Thursday and Friday this week.

INEC national commissioner for information, Sam Olumekan in a statement says National Assembly members elect will be presented with the certificates in Abuja and state Assembly members-elect at INEC state offices.

The statement further clarifies that winners of the two court-ordered state Assembly re-run elections in Kano and Enugu have been declared.

However, the commission will conclude the Kaura Namoda South State constituency election of Zamfara state on Thursday, 21st of August, 2025.
