Police Arrest Herbalist Involved in FRSC Officer and Daughter Murder, Declare Man Wanted

Lagosspy NG reported the disappearance of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer, SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, and her young daughter, Sewa, that ended in tragedy after their bodies were reportedly discovered inside the residence of a suspected herbalist in Osun State.

Reports indicate that the herbalist has been tracked and apprehended by the police. He confessed during interrogation that a Man named Mr Victor (now declared wanted), who was a friend of the deceased FRSC officer took the woman to the herbalist in Osun State, then Mr Victor and his friends killed her for suspected ritual purposes.

Lasisi, a 38-year-old officer serving with the FRSC Abeokuta Unit, went missing alongside her daughter on Sunday, November 2, 2025, after leaving their home at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Sector Commander, CC Leye Adegboyega fsi, and the Sector Intelligence Officer visited the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Gotan, regarding the viral news about SRC OO Lasisi, a staff of RS2.2 Ogun Sector Command, who was reported missing. The CP confirmed that his men had made an arrest of a suspected herbalist rutalist in connection with the incident. The CP immediately order the OC Kidnapping to come over to his office.

According to the OC Kidnapping, investigations revealed that one Mr. Victor, a friend of SRC OO Lasisi, was also declared missing on 2 November 2025 by his wife at the Osun State Police Headquarters. Mr. Victor was found to have frequently made calls to one suspected herbalist rutalist phone number through phone tracking in Iwoye Ijesa, Osun State.

The herbalist rutalist was apprehended in Iloko Ijesa, Osun State, and confirmed that SRC OO Lasisi and Mr. Victor had visited him for consultation. He claimed that Mr. Victor and his friends killed SRC OO Lasisi and dismembered her body, which was found in a sack bag in the river without her head.

The herbalist rutalist also stated that SRC OO Lasisi’s daughter had been staying with him for some days before Mr. Victor and his friends took her away. It is believed that she has been killed, but the herbalist claims he did not participate in the act. Also, he did not know where the daughter or the dead body was kept.

The police are working to arrest Mr. Victor and his accomplices. DNA and autopsy tests will be conducted after the arrest of the other suspects. This would aim the justice system for considerable proof because of the dismembered body without her head.

The dismembered body had been deposited in Osun State Teaching Hospital, Osogbo on 17 November, 2025.

Meanwhile, the police in Osun State are still working to bring the perpetrators to justice.
