[BREAKING] LASG Shuts Down Dowen College Following The Death Of A Teenage Boy

The Lagos State Government on Friday ordered the indefinite closure of Dowen College, Lekki, following the investigation into the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of the school.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Assistant Director, Public Affairs, of the Lagos State Ministry of Education

The Commissioner called for calm,, saying no effort will be spared in getting to the root of the incident.

LagosspyNG understands that Oromoni’s death became public knowledge after a family member, identified as Perri, on Thursday posted about the incident on social media.

The family member identified as @PerrisOnoromoni alleged that the Junior Secondary School 2 pupil died from internal injuries he sustained during an assault by fellow students who wanted to initiate him into cultism.
