Billionaire Boluwatife Akin-Olugbade, Dies of COVID19

The Aare Onakakanfo of Owu Kingdom, Prince Bolu Akin Olugbade has been confirmed dead after suffering from COVID-19 complications.

The stylish Rollce Royce lover was reported to have died today Wednesday 13th January, 2021, at an isolation facility in Ikeja, where he was recieving and recovering from the COVID-19 virus.

According to sources, the billionaire attended an event in Lagos where he chaired the occasion, “Chief said he came in contact with the deadly virus at a party he attended, despite taking all preventive measure to avoid having the virus that eventually took his life”.

Prince Akin Olugbade recently returned from the United States of America to Nigeria, aftermath of the heat of the Pandemic last year, he returned into the country last year after embargo on international travelling was lifted.

He died today January 13 after battling with COVID19 complications.

A native of Owu kingdom in Ogun state, late Akin-Olugbade was described as one of the world’s biggest Rolls-Royce collector.

He was so obsessed with the brand that he had 10 Rolls Royce which has his customized plate numbers ‘BOLU 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.”

He was 64 years old.

Late Akin-Olugbade attended Corona School, Yaba; King’s College, Lagos, London University; University of California (master’s in Law); and Cambridge University where he got his doctorate specialising in Company Law.

His business interests cut across law, property development, construction, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, maritime and offshore services, investment banking, etc.
