Ibrahim Magu has been suspended as the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

LagosspyNG understands that this came immediately the EFCC boss was invited to face a presidential panel on corruption allegations against him.

The  panel was led by Ayo Salami, a retired justice of the appeal court.

The development comes after he was arrested and detained by security operatives in Abuja.
